There is nothing worse than that feeling of drowning in your own home.
Overwhelm, chaos, clutter...the physical mess creeps into our bodies and becomes an emotional mess before we know it.
But girl, we don’t have time for that! We are moms! We have enough balls to juggle in the air without having to worry about the piles of junk mail on the kitchen counter!
We have babies to snuggle and dinners to stir and when our house is a complete disaster, we can’t possibly do our job effectively.
This week, I realized that after four months of health issues that left me laid up on the couch, the chaos had begun to take control of my home. And I wasn’t about to let that steal one more minute of my joy!
I cleared out this closet that we had been using for board games and got to work!
(swipe to the end to see the before) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, it’s my everyday closet!
It holds everything I use on a regular basis...but never know where to put when I’m not using it.
The stuff that used to be in the basement that nobody ever wanted to walk downstairs to get.
The crap taking up an entire JUNK drawer in the kitchen.
That stack of bills and to do lists that always ends up piled on my kitchen island.
4 hours of work. 1 can of leftover paint. And a couple bins from Ikea (my FAVORITE bins from @ikea), and my home went from chaos to calm!
Take THAT, quarantine! 💪🏼
