Band-focused back and bis workout + some dumbbell stuff 🙃 Definitely missing the gym rn but it’s all the more motivation to lift heavier when gyms open back up! Here’s a 45 minute back and bi workout. Late in posting my workout.....ran out to the store, go home, showered, threw my clothes in the laundry, wiped everything down and put it away. Going to get groceries has turned into such an ordeal, but we do what we have to do to stay safe and healthy. I am good for another week, so I will being staying home until next week. This has been my plan since we have been ordered to stay home.....once a week go out to the grocery store....one trip and that's all. I loved my sweat session....it was dripping everywhere! Full body HIIT It’s about time to get sweaty 🤩 I’m using dumbbells for few of the exercises but don’t worry if you don’t have any cause the circuit can be done without weights 💪🏻 ***In brackets exercise option for body weight circuit *** Set you timer for 45sec work 15sec rest We are gonna go for 4 rounds in total so grab a bottle of water and get ready for some fun 😁 1. Inchworm walkout into squat jump 2. Jumping lunge into squat jump 3. Russian twist into press (can be done body weight) 4. Dumbbell burpee + 2 plank jacks (can be done body weight) 5. Split jump (45sec each leg) 6. Narrow press into sit-up (regular sit-up) 7. Jumping jacks into shoulder press (regular jumping jacks) 8. Upright row into reverse fly (press up if you don’t have any weights) 9. ~ 𝚙 𝚘 𝚜 𝚒 𝚝 𝚒 𝚟 𝚒 𝚝 𝚢 ~ I think today has been the day I’ve felt the best since this whole lockdown, I did a live HIIT this morning and got sweaty for 30 mins, did a push workout with the OH (used my new resistance band @franceshumphriespt kindly brought to the door the other day with a surprise food delivery🥺) and then had a lovely stroll in the sunshine and got in over 11k steps for the day! Last night was the first night I’ve slept properly in forever too, and I haven’t napped today (yet😂)! Lockdown is haaaard and we’re all feeling different in some kind of way but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - TALK TO SOMEONE 👏🏼👏🏼 tell someone your feels and let it out, nobody will judge you, this is a new experience for us all and we’re all in it together! ✌🏼 Here’s the HIIT workout @ssamanthafituk and I did on live this morning! No weight, just yourself 👍🏼 remember to like & save for later when you’re in need of a sweat session 💦 • rotational bounces • mountain climbers • 180 squat jumps (easier version showed end of the video) • shoulder taps • prisoner high knees • lateral lunge with knee drive (alternate legs each round) 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off, repeat 4 times 💦💦🔥🔥

GLUTE CHALLENGE (600 rep total!🍑😨) - Happy Hump day 🌞Soo I can’t lie this is a killer, I did this last Friday and couldn’t train my Glutes again till today 😫 it’s mad how usually in the gym id be lifting a lot heavier and I wouldn’t be THAT sore after! Just shows form is way more important than the number on the weight🙋🏻‍♀️These exercises are nice and simple, you won’t need anything other than a resistance band and if you don’t have one that’s totally fine you can still feel the burn 😂 I really believe when training your butt, simplicity and form is key 🔑 - 30 reps of each exercise then rest for 2 minutes 5 rounds Let me know how it goes 🙋🏻‍♀️ - Hip thrusts (30 reps) - Donkey kicks (30 reps - 15 on each leg) - Crab walks (30 reps) - Swim hold (30 reps) Remember when training your Glutes, mind to muscle connection is super important 🧠 really think about the Glutes firing up 🔥 and of course SQUEEZE! 🍑 As always any questions or suggestions comment below or DM me 💓 p.s. sweaty HIIT circuit will be up this weekend 🙋🏻‍♀️

My favourite way to start the day. A nice sweaty workout with weights! I used to absolutely hate working out and one day with just a bit of encouragement, I started my fitness journey. At the beginning it was just to lose the pregnancy weight, but eventually, it became an addiction that I couldn’t be happier to have! It’s something for me and only me. It’s my journey and I don’t need to compare it to anyone else’s. I may not have the body I want to have yet, but that is okay because I do it on my own terms and I’ll get there when I get there. 😊
